    Through the years I have come to find there are only two types of leather suitable for chaps.  They are "Top Grain Cow" and "Garment Cow".  They both come in a variety of colors and hold up to the rigors of horse showing.  I always order the largest hides so the choice areas are utilized.  There are at times some scars, stretch marks, and other imperfections visible and I do my best to place them in areas out of sight and/or in a manner not to lose the integrity of the garment.

TOP GRAIN COW:
Comes in 43 colors in 3-3.5 oz weight and can be used either suede side or slick side.  Extremely durable.  For colors click on the following:

GARMENT COW:
Comes in 26 colors in 1.5-2 oz weight and can be used either suede side or slick side.  Durable as well and very comfortable.  For colors click on the following:

GARMENT SPLIT:
Comes in 38 colors in 2.5-3 oz weight using only the suede side.  Ideal for children and small adults as these hides run on the small side.  For colors click on the following:

PIG SUEDE:
Comes in 48 colors in 1-1.5 oz weight using only the suede side.  Small Children can usually get by with this ultra light weight leather but it is simply not strong enough for adult chaps.  I cannot guarantee pig suede against ripping.  For colors click on the following:

LAMBSKIN:
Comes in 35 colors in 1.5-2 oz weight using only the slick side.  Ideal for children and small adults as these hides run small and are of a delicate nature.  I cannot guarantee lambskine from ripping.  For colors  click on the following: PAGE 1

SPLIT COW
:
Comes in 27 colors in 4-4.5 oz weight using only the suede side.  Where as I guarantee the wear of this leather, it is not recommended because it has been found to be too heavy and uncomfortable for showing.  For colors click on the following:

HOW TO ORDER
:
1.  Call or
e-mail me first to discuss colors, style options, prices, leather or ultrasuede choices, and measuring. 

2.  Then print out my measurement chart. 

Please call with any questions you might have regarding measuring as you are responsible for your own measurements!  I would also be glad to do the measuring for you.  If you will be in the Seattle area stop by the shop or stop by while I am at a show near you!
